Dekton Daze Worktops & Sensa Granite Island – Case Study

This modern kitchen renovation challenged us to combine precision, creativity, and technical expertise, and the final result is nothing short of breathtaking.

The Project Brief

The client envisioned a sleek, contemporary kitchen featuring bold contrasts and clean lines. Our task was to fabricate and install a combination of surfaces that would not only meet but exceed expectations in terms of style and functionality. The materials included Daze Dekton for a seamless white marble aesthetic and Sensa Black Beauty Granite, a striking dark natural stone with intricate veining.

Key Highlights of the Work

The scope of the work included various customizations and installations:

Dekton Countertops & Features

We installed 9.13 square metres of Daze Dekton in 20mm thickness, meticulously chamfered to create a sharp, clean edge detail.

A polished sink cutout, hob cutout, and downdraft extractor cutout were precisely crafted to integrate seamlessly with the kitchen’s functionality.

The window sill, fabricated from 20mm Dekton, carried the same luxurious look into adjacent spaces.

Sensa Black Beauty Granite

The kitchen island’s statement piece was the Sensa Black Beauty Granite, a bold counterpoint to the light Dekton surfaces.

This included 3.64 square metres of material, enhanced with a single chamfered edge detail and bonding at the front for added durability and a clean finish.

Upstands & Splashbacks

A 300mm Dekton upstand added a practical yet elegant touch to the back countertop area.

The splashback, crafted from the same 20mm Dekton, unified the space and highlighted the kitchen’s refined aesthetic.

Tailored Template & Installation

Every measurement was carefully templated to ensure a flawless fit. Our expert installation team brought these plans to life, ensuring the entire kitchen looked cohesive and polished.

The Final Look

The completed kitchen is a perfect fusion of form and function. The sleek Dekton countertops flow seamlessly across the workspace, while the Sensa granite island creates a striking centrepiece that commands attention. Subtle details, like the precision chamfering and cutouts, elevate the overall design. The reflective surfaces and the contrast between the white and black tones create a timeless, high-end appeal.
